TOS Review/ Math Facts Now

Do you have a child who is just beginning to learn addition?

Do you have a child who knows their multiplication facts, but needs to know them off the top of their head, so that their math doesn't take them as long to complete each day?

Math Facts Now is a fun, simple program that will help your children to accomplish these tasks.

Your child can practice their Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division facts, with this program, that can be tailored to their specific needs.

Math Facts Now is a very simple program to use.
All you do is add your child's name, and create a lesson for them.

When you create a new lesson, you can choose from Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Division.

Within each Category, you can choose from the numbers 1-12.

For example, if you have a child just beginning to learn his addition facts, you may set up a lesson with just the numbers 1-5.

So all you would do is check the numbers 1-5, and then you will choose how many problems you wish to have, and how long you want to give them to answer each problem.

For a younger child you would want to give them longer to answer the problems than you would an older one who is practicing for speed.

Next, name your lesson, and your done.

Now, you can either choose to do this lesson now, or you can have them do it later.

The benefit to this is that you can go in and create a bunch of lessons ahead of time, and then your child can go in on his own, and go through the preset lessons.

I have two children using this program right now, and they both love it, and I am not just saying that! lol

They really ask me if they can do this almost every day.  Go figure.

My daughter generally does not like to do math, but she is getting so fast at her facts, that is fun for her to try to beat her time. She is 13 and knows her facts, but she did not know them fast enough, and it took her longer to get her math done than it should have.

Now she knows these facts off the top of her head, and can do her math much faster.

I don't know why I didn't think of getting a program like this sooner.

I guess I figured since she did not like math, and we have tried other ways to memorize the facts, and she didn't like them, that she wouldn't like anything.

I am so glad we had the opportunity to review this program.

It makes a huge difference when your children know their facts at a faster pace, HUGE.

My 6 year old son, on the other hand, loves math, so he enjoys it just because it is math!

A couple of other features you may want know about Math Facts Now is that you can edit or delete your lessons, and you can print out a progress report for each child.

This will tell you how they did on each lesson.

One other thing that I would like to mention is that when we originally received this program, it had a minimum of 50 problems.

A lot of us on the Crew really wished that there was no minimum, or that it could be lowered.

The First Mate in charge mentioned this to the owner, and viola, they made it so!

They are awesome aren't they. They really listen to their customers, and I think that says a lot about their company.

I hope you enjoyed this review of Math Facts Now, and that you will consider using it in your home with your children as well.

We really did enjoy it, and we will continue to use this program for many years to come, I am sure.
