Yay! I just finished my reading for day one!
Every time I read this I just don't get why Abram would want to say that Sarai was his sister.
I get that he did not want to be killed, but to allow your wife to potentially be with another man, I just don't understand that.
We do see that he was very human and obviously scared, and that God worked it out for the good of Sarai.
On the other hand, I don't see how Sarai could want her husband to be with another woman either.
I guess we just can't understand their thought process, or why they did what they did, but it is good to know that even after all they did, they were forgiven, and highly esteemed.
I have the book called Daughters of Sarah, and it is a very good book. If you have not read this, I highly recommend it.
It is a biblical marriage book that will help you to be the Godly wife you are intended to be.
I love it.
Several ladies and I had a women's Bible study on this book and marriage. It was awesome!
OK, if you are joining me in reading, I hope you got yours done for the day too!
I'll be checking in soon!
Night.
