Scruble Cube/ TOS Review

Photobucket

You may be wondering what a Scruble Cube is, as you have probably never heard of one before. I know I hadn't.

Well, it is like Scrabble on a Rubik's Cube. That's the best way I know how to describe it.

How it works is pretty simple. You try to make words on the cube in a certain time limit. There are wilds and double/triple letters scores too, just like in Scrabble! Anyone who can read and spell at a reasonable level can play this game. It is great for kids and adults. My daughter always beats me though. :)

The following video gives you a good idea of how you play, and how the points work.

I'll be honest and say it is a little complicated for me. My brain can't think that fast anymore. lol
My daughter, on the other hand, really likes playing it. I think it helps her with her spelling too! That is a great bonus of this game!

If you would like to incorporate this into your schooling, there are several free downloads to help you do that.

And if for some reason, you lose any parts, you can get a replacement set of all 96 labels for $4.95.

We have had no problems with ours though. I was a little worried at first that it might break if we twisted it too hard, but it has been just fine.

Greatly enjoyed your review! Thanks for the video and the ways to incorporate into my schooling. (We reviewed this too, and it was too complicated for me as well - my dh however, LOVES it!) Blessings!
