I found it much easier to combine our timeline with notebooking instead of doing them separate.
We use The Mystery of History for our world History. We read the lessons and then there is an activity that follows. Then we add something to our timeline!
I then have her write about the person on the timeline and their story!
Here are some pictures so you can see what I am talking about!
You could do this with any program or timeline that you have made yourself!
I think it makes for a more informational timeline!

Hi Rodna... I love your idea from the mommy homework about the Thanksgiving Lap book.
How do you do your lapbooks? Do you make them like a notebook? I've never done one so I'm just curious..
Hi Angela!
I usually get my lapbooks from Hands of a Child. www.handsofachild.com If you will look in the archives to October and then scoll most of the way down you can see pictures of my daughters lapbook on Presidents Day! I use the file folder. it is easy and it folds up and they are precious to keep. I am soon going to post my 3 years olds Zebra lapbook! It is so cute!

Hi, I love your timeline idea. Where do you get your pictures from that you are putting on there?
Hi Michelle! I get them for free from the Mystery of History yahoo group files section! I also got the timeline pages there! I really wanted this really nice timeline book and these premade timeline figures but they were soo expensive. So I found these for free on the MOH group! I am not sure the exact link but it is the Mystery of History 1 yahoo group! I believe it is only on the MOH 1 group.

This looks wonderful! :-) Thanks for sharing your pictures. It makes what you're doing crystal clear.
