We ordered the new version of Teaching Textbooks a couple of months ago, and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival. It finally arrived today!
My daughter is using their new Pre-Algebra course.
We have already started using it, and we both love it.
The instructor really explains things well, and it is a real person, not a text to speech person. At least it sounds like it is.
It has a lecture at the beginning of each lesson, and it grades everything for me! Whoo-Hoo
Anyways, I am so excited about it, and wanted to share my enthusiasm with you.
This is our very first time using TT.
My Mother-in-law purchased it for my daughter. Wasn't that nice of her?
Do any of you use TT? How do you like it?

So happy for you! I have thought about switching to TT but haven't made the move yet. We use Rightstart and are going to stick with it for now. Hope she enjoys the year!
My boys have used Teaching Textbooks for Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2. If I was starting over with young kids I would use Teaching Textbooks as soon as I could.
As of now they have Teaching Textbooks starting at grade 3. So I would use Saxon for K-2 and then switch to Teaching Textbooks. Once/If TT gets 2nd grade down to K done I would use them all the way through. I just love TT and the way they explain things. My daughters wish they could have used it. They think they would have understood things better.
The bonus of having the lower grades self grading and doing the teaching is wonderful. I love their stuff.
If the Lord tarries and my kids get married and homeschool I will definitely make sure they have access to Teaching Textbooks if that is what they choose to use.
We used the Algebra Teaching Textbook several years ago with #3. It was really great!
