Homeschooling is such a natural thing. What is not natural is to hand you children over at the age of 5 years old, or younger, for someone else to teach and train.
Deuteronomy 6 starts out with "These are the commands..." and goes on to say in Deut. 6:6-7 "These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
We are commanded to teach our children, and to spend time with our children.
Homeschooling gives us the ability to follow God's commandments.
Following God's Word is always best, and is always a blessing.

When I brought my boys back home, it was like a weight lifted from me - and them.

AMEN sista! Following scripture is the only way to go! And, I am so glad I am able to homeschool our boys, although it is not always easy, the Lord provides. Blessings to you!
I would be so sad to let my daughter go for 5 or 6 hours a day to teachers who would not care for her like I do. :(
I had the same experience as Catherine. My daughter went to public school K, but even though there are frustrating days, homeschooling is much easier than sending her away.
Very well said! I am so blessed to be able to teach my children at home, and follow God's commands!
