T is for Tree: A Bible ABC by Reformed Free Publishing Association / TOS Review

My son and I were recently given the opportunity to review a lovely book for for the toddler to preschool age range. 
It is a biblical alphabet book called T is for Tree: A Bible ABC by Reformed Free Publishing Association. 
This book takes each letter of the alphabet and includes a short poem and bible verse on each page that is related to the picture. A is for ants...B is for bow, and so on. 


The book is beautiful. It has a nice glossy, hardback cover, and the binding is really nice. 
The quality of the book and the pages matters to me. I love books, and I love for them to not only look nice, but to also be of a good quality so that they will last. 
"The Reformed Free Publishing Association is an independent, non-profit organization that was founded in 1924 for the purpose of witnessing to the distinctive reformed truth."

This book is a very good quality book. Your child would have a hard time pulling the pages out of this book. (Yes, I checked)!  My son likes this book. He plays "wheres the letter" when he reads it. 

I think this is a great book to introduce when your child is learning their ABC's. You could use it along with a letter of the week program. 

Your child could copy the poem that goes along with the letter for their handwriting or copy work. The poems are short, so this would be perfect for younger children. 

The author, Connie L. Meyer, has written this and other children's books, along with a christian art curriculum series for children. 

She has also written short stories and articles for magazines. 

She is a 1982 graduate of Calvin College and holds a BA is art education. She is also a wife, mother, and grandmother. 

She wants us to "Use this book to instruct our children in the truths of salvation for all of God's people and especially his little lambs."

I think this is a wonderful book to do just that!

I know that this will be a book that we pick up and use all along our early learning.

 As I mentioned earlier, I plan on using it as we are learning our letters, and using the rhymes for copy work.
